The Bees make the long trip to the northeast to face table toppers Gateshead FC at the Gateshead International Stadium.
Â
Barnet FC:
In our last league outing the Bees faced newly promoted Tamworth FC at the Hive and hit the Lambs for seven in a dominant performance. Zak Brunt opened the scoring in this contest with a tidy finish from inside the box. A deflected Ryan Glover effort made it two before Brunt bagged his second with a great half-volley from just inside the box. Brunt sealed his hattrick from the penalty spot in the second half, Mark Shelton made it five with Callum Stead adding a sixth. Harry Chapman got the seventh and final goal of the game as he latched onto a cross in the six-yard box.

Gateshead FC
Tomorrow’s hosts have enjoyed a successful start to the season having won 4 out of their opening 6 games, drawing 2 and losing none. The current league leaders beat second place Eastleigh last time out when a goal from Oseni and a last minute goal from Storey sealed the impressive win over the team from the South Coast.
Gateshead last five results:
Gateshead 2-1 Eastleigh
Oldham Athletic 1-1 Gateshead
Gateshead 3-1 Yeovil Town
FC Halifax Town 1-1 Gateshead
Woking 0-2 Gateshead
In the opposite dugout:
Gateshead are currently managed by former Newcastle United goalkeeper Rob Elliot who has been at the helm since October 2023 when former boss Mike Williamson left to join MK Dons. Since then, he has guided his side to a finish in the National League play-offs last season as well as the FA Trophy.
Ones to watch
The Heed have two players with three goals so far this season but with captain Greg Olley facing a lengthy spell on the side lines, Owen Eric Damilola Oseni will be one to watch. The young striker who signed for Gateshead permanently in July will be looking to cause more hurt on the teams around them in the league after his 45th minute opener against Eastleigh last weekend.

Last time these two sides met:
The last time these two sides met was in January this year when Gateshead were winners in a narrow contest in the Northeast. Nicke Kabamba opened the scoring in this one but two second half goals from Luke Hannant and Kain James Kofi Adom ensured the Heed took the three points.
