Barnet FC:
Boston United were the latest side to have faced the in-form Bees as they fell to defeat at The Hive last weekend. It was the visitors who took the lead in this fixture when Keaton Ward scored early on for Boston. A second half surge from the Bees which included goals from Callum Stead, Nik Tavares and another for Nicke Kabamba ensured the Bees made it seven wins in a row on home turf.

Chelmsford City
Tomorrow’s visitors sit mid-table in the Vanarama National League South having picked up four wins from their opening ten games, drawing three and losing three. In their last outing they edged Eastbourne Borough in Essex. It was City who grabbed a 4-0 lead by the 51st minute with goals from Donaldson, Foyo and two from Greenidge. Borough grabbed two second half goals from Odusanya, but these proved to be nothing more than a consolation. The team from Essex have overcome Tilbury and Bromsgrove Sporting in the second and third rounds of qualification in this season’s FA Cup.
Chelmsford City last five results:
Chelmsford City 4-2 Eastbourne Borough
Chelmsford City 2-1 Bromsgrove Sporting
Hornchurch 0-2 Chelmsford City
Tilbury 0-2 Chelmsford City
Chelmsford City 3-0 Bath City
In the opposite dugout:
Chelmsford City are currently managed by former Cambridge and Coventry striker Robbie Simpson who has been at the Essex side since 2019. Originally joining as a player, the EFL journeyman moved into the head coach role on an interim basis in 2020 when Rod Stringer was sacked. Simpson was given the role on a permanent basis just three months later.
Ones to watch:
Former Bees man Jake Hyde could be one to look out for tomorrow afternoon. The veteran forward has two goals to his name in the league campaign and with his return to the Hive booked in for tomorrow afternoon, it could see him line up against his former club.

Last time these two sides met:
The last time these two sides met was in a competitive fixture was in November 2022 when the Bees registered a narrow win over City in a replay. Sam Woods saw a second half red card for Barnet which left Brennan’s side with an uphill battle, Idris Kanu overcame this battle to grab the game’s only goal.
