The last time Barnet faced The Eagles was on 11 July 2023, with Courtney Senior placing a beautiful strike into the top right corner in the 90th minute to win the game 1-0.
In two earlier friendlies, the Bees beat Palace 6-2 – having gone 2-0 down initially – in 2019, and in 2015 lost 5-3 to the Eagles. If history is anything to go by, we should be in for another cracking fixture.
The Bees’ previous two friendlies so far this season saw them beat Hitchin Town 3-0 and draw 2-2 with Hemel Hempstead in honour of the late Spencer McCall.
Bees attacker Rhys Browne has already netted 3 goals in the two halves he’s played, with the other goals coming from an Adam Senior header and an Anthony Hartigan free-kick special.
