The Bees are on the road this evening as they travel to the Nigel Eady County Ground to face Swindon Town in a 7:45pm kick-off.
Barnet:
Barnet fell to a 2-1 defeat at the Hive on Saturday to Mat Sadler’s Walsall.
The Sadlers took the lead inside two minutes, with Connor Barrett capitalising on a mistake in the backline to give the visitors an early advantage.
The Bees came close after the opening 15 minutes of the game, with some excellent footwork from Nnamdi Ofoborh allowing the midfielder to drive forward. He took aim from the edge of the area and forced Roberts into a save.
Walsall doubled their advantage half-way through the first 45, with a Mason Hancock free-kick being latched onto by Aaron Pressley.
Ollie Hawkins closed the deficit before the break. A corner from captain Anthony Hartigan was met by the number 12 to close the gap with minutes to go before half-time.
Shortly after the restart, Ofoborh saw a second yellow and the Bees were down to ten men for the remainder of the half.
Late substitutes made by Head Coach Dean Brennan saw a late flurry of energy from the Bees. Brunt sent a threatening delivery into the box, and the ball was battled with just inches out from goal, before eventually being cleared.
The Bees had the ball in the penalty area yet again, and this time, it fell to Brunt on the edge of the area, but the ball bobbled in front of him, and his resulting effort was wide of the post and the Robins left the Hive with the three points.

Swindon:
The Robins recorded their first away win of the campaign on Saturday, beating recently-promoted Oldham Athletic 2-1.
Swindon started on the front foot and took an early lead in the tie when Joe Snowdon fired home for his first senior goal with less than five minutes on the clock.
Snowdon then turned provider, setting up Tom Nicholls for a second 15 minutes later, who struck the ball into the back of the net to finish of a brilliant team move.
Joe Quigley pulled one back for the visitors before the break, and the Latics controlled large parts of the second-half, with Quigley’s late chance for an equaliser and a brace being heroically blocked by Swindon’s Will Wright to send the visitors home with three points.
Swindon’s last five results:
Oldham Athletic 1-2 Swindon Town
Cardiff 2-1 Swindon Town (Carabao Cup)
Swindon 3-2 Cambridge United
Walsall 2-1 Swindon Town
Eastleigh 2-3 Swindon Town
In the opposition dugout:
The Robins are coached by the hugely-experienced Ian Holloway, who took charge of the Wiltshire-based club in October last year, steering them well away from the League Two drop zone and guiding them to a 12th-place finish.
The 62-year-old has coached over 1,000 games in his career, including stints with Crystal Palace and Blackpool, guiding both teams to promotion to the Premier League.
Under the guidance of Holloway, the Robins play very attacking football and like to get forward quickly and score goals, which is evident in the seven goals they’ve scored in three games so far this season.
Ones to watch:
With six different goalscorers already on the books this season, it’s tough to single out a star player for the hosts, but a name that all sides will be familiar with is Harry Smith.
Smith signed for the Robins last summer and scored 15 goals last season. The 30-year-old has had plenty of interest over the summer from numerous clubs, but Holloway has confirmed the striker is not for sale.
Another name to keep an eye on is 21-year-old midfielder Joe Snowdon, who scored on Saturday for Swindon and has provided two assists already this campaign.
Last time these two sides met:
The two sides have met on 11 occasions, with the most recent meeting seeing Swindon visit the Hive in January 2018 and taking all three points.
Swindon were ahead in the tie through Ellis Landolo, before Barnet brought the game level a few minutes later, with John Akinde heading in from a Jamal Campbell-Ryce cross.
