Barnet FC first team visited one of our official partners, Hendon Hospital on Thursday morning to undergo cryotherapy as part of their recovery.
The players were subjected to temperatures that dropped to as low as -86 degrees. It works by reducing blood flow to a particular area, which can significantly reduce inflammation and swelling that causes pain, especially around a joint or a tendon. It can temporarily reduce nerve activity, which can also relieve pain.
Circle Health Group has the UK’s largest national network of private hospitals.
Having joined forces with Circle Health Group in January 2020, BMI Healthcare’s Hendon Hospital is now just called “Hendon Hospital” and is benefitting from a major £250m national investment programme in its facilities, technology and people.
With a wide range of services including cryotherapy sessions, Hendon Hospital is proud to partner with Barnet Football Club.
