Barnet FC & The Hive Foundation visit Barnet Hospital

Barnet Football Club and The Hive Foundation recently visited Barnet Hospital to meet some of the wonderful staff and patients on the Galaxy Children’s Ward.

Barnet FC first team players Marvin Armstrong and Moussa Diarra surprised some of the children by appearing at the ward with bags full of gifts.

The players spoke to the children, family and staff on the ward before donating Barnet FC hats and scarves to the children.

There were lots of questions from the children to the players, many of whom were interested in life as a professional football player.

The Hive Foundation Manager, Dan Barton, said:

“The work being done by the staff here at Barnet Hospital is truly amazing.

“As a Football Club, we have a duty to give back to our local community and I am delighted that we are here today.

“It was great to see the smiles on the children’s faces despite some of the illnesses they are suffering with and hope to return in due course.”
