Billy Clifford departs

Barnet FC can confirm Billy Clifford has left the Club after the expiration of his contract.

Billy featured in 21 league games for the Bees last season, playing his part in helping Barnet achieve a club record points total.

A class act on the pitch and an important character in the changing room, Billy leaves the Barnet Football Club as a Champion.

Speaking about his departure, Manager Dean Brennan said:

“Bill is a proper chap that we will all miss around the Hive.”

“He knows how much love I personally have for him, and we’ll always be here for him.”

“We want to thank Bill for his huge contribution to us last season – we have nothing but love for him.”

Everyone at the Bees wishes Billy the very best.
