Barnet FC make it six wins in a row, seven at home as win streak
continues for the bees.


The game started quickly with the first chance coming right at the start of play when Bailey Hobson found space down the right-hand side playing a quick pass Callum stead on the edge of the box.

 

The forward took a first time shot that went right down the throat of the keeper, resulting in an easy save for Boston United’s Aidan Stone.


The quick start continued in the when Jacob Hazel won the fight for possession in the Barnet half, then quickly playing a through ball to Keaton Ward making him one vs one with Barnets Nick Hayes.

 

The Boston United player done well with his chance slotting the ball past the
Barnet keepers right hand side giving the visitors a 1-0 lead in the 6th minute of the game.

 

After going 1-0 down the hosts reacted well to trying to break down the Boston defence and in the 29th minute recycled possession led to Bailey Hobson getting the ball down the right-hand side.

 

His cross found forward Nicke Kabamba at the far post who headed the ball straight at the Boston United keeper.


Just 10 minutes later Kabamba found himself on the end of another cross again, this time from defender Myles Kenlock. But the effort was headed wide of the post keeping the score 1-0 to the visitors.


Still trying the find an equaliser right before the half time whistle went Barnet had one more chance when Nicke Kabamba controlled a long ball in his direction on the edge of the box, quickly taking the shot at goal in the process that led to a quick reaction save from Boston’s Aidan Stone.


In the 47th minute of the match the home side had a free kick around 35 yards out from goal. Defender Ben Coker took an attempt towards goal clattering the ball off the crossbar as Barnet still searched for the equaliser.

 

10 minutes later the bees finally found the equaliser they were looking for when they played the ball out from the back quickly finding Ben Coker on the left-hand side, he then crossed the ball into the direction of Callum stead who guided a header past the keepers left hand side making the score 1-1.

 

In the 70th minute of the game the ball came out to substitute Idris Kanu who played a low cross across the box that was deflected upwards by the Boston United defender and Nik Taveres was the quickest to react to the deflection heading the ball past Aidan stone in the Boston net to give the home side the lead. 2-1.

 

Barnet 16 minutes later in the 86th minute of the game a long ball was played over to another substitute Jordan Cropper who won the battle for the ball getting clear of his defender.

 

The full back then played a low ball across the box to forward Nicke Kabamba who back healed the ball past the keeper making the score 3-1 and sealing the 3 points for the bees.
