Barnet return to Sky Bet League Two action with a trip to Tranmere Rovers awaiting Dean Brennan’s side this weekend.
The Bees will be looking to extend their unbeaten run which now stretches back 16 games, as they come face-to-face with a tough Rovers side.
Sitting just a point off top spot, Brennan’s men will be keen to ensure they continue applying the pressure on their table rivals – with a victory certainly the best way to do that.
A trip to Prenton Park now awaits the Bees who will be looking for a repeat of last season’s trip to the Wirral – with Lee Ndlovu and Adam Senior’s first half strikes wrapping up a memorable afternoon for Brennan’s men.
Victory last time out courtesy of late goals from Senior, Zac Williams and Kabongo Tshimanga ensured Barnet returned to league in perfect fashion and will certainly be taking confidence from last weekend’s trip to Bristol into this one.

Tranmere Rovers:
Of course, Barnet come up against Tranmere Rovers who themselves posses a positive record themselves – remaining undefeated at Prenton Park this term, a record they will certainly be keen to keep intact this weekend.
However, despite this Rovers have struggled in recent weeks, with their only league victory coming back in early September.
It’s safe to say Tranmere have certainly become draw specialists this season, with half of their accumulated 12 points coming in the form of draws.
But the likes of Tom Ince and Will Vaulks they certainly possess a huge amount of experience, blended with the youth of Dylan Jones, Zan Okoro and Charlie Whitaker they certainly have quality throughout their ranks.
In the dugout:
Established boss Darrell Clarke joined Tranmere in May 2026, tasked with rebuilding the squad, whilst looking to improve on last season’s disappointed league finish.
Known for his spells across the Football League, Clarke enjoyed a prolonged four-year stint at Bristol Rovers between 2014 and 2018 where he achieved back-to-back promotions with the Gas men, taking them from the National League to League One.
He would later work at Walsall, Port Vale, Cheltenham Town and Barnsley before returning to Rovers in 2025.
The now 48-year-old enjoyed spent most of his playing career with Mansfield Town, Hartlepool United and Salisbury City – where he racked up over 400 appearances in the heart of midfield.
One to Watch: Tom Ince
Experienced attacker Tom Ince joined Tranmere Rovers in the summer of 2026, looking to add some vital experience and quality to Rovers front line.
Having begun his career with Liverpool, Ince made his name at Blackpool before numerous different spells across the Football League.
He would soon settle at Derby County making over 85 appearances for the Rams, scoring 26 goals.
Spells at Huddersfield Town, Stoke City, Reading and later Watford would follow for the former England U21 international.
Strikes this term against Port Vale and Rotherham United highlighting that Ince still have a lot to give to Rovers this season.
