Barnet are back in Sky Bet League Two action this weekend, with a trip to Bristol Rovers getting the ball rolling for Dean Brennan’s side – following their prolonged spell away from league action.
Of course, the Bees remain undefeated this term and will be looking to extend their undefeated run of 16 games – the current longest in the EFL.
Victory on penalties in the Jersey Mike’s Trophy on Tuesday evening would’ve only wetted the appetite for the Bees who will be keen to return to action with a victory.
A trip to the Memorial Stadium awaits for Barnet who face a Rovers side who themselves have started the 2026/27 campaign well and will be keen to return to winning ways following their recent woes away from home.

As mentioned, the Bees return to Sky Bet League Two action for the first time since 19th September with a 3-1 victory over Fleetwood last time out ensuring Dean Brennan’s side headed into the extended international break at the summit of the league table – however head into this one, one point off of top spot with two games in hand.
The boys are now back in action and will certainly be eyeing up a positive afternoon in the south west.

It has been a mixed start to the 2026/27 campaign for Rovers, who like Barnet currently sit on 15 points and will certainly have ambitions on being in and around the promotion question come what May.
A recent victory over local rivals Exeter City was certainly a highlight for the Gas men, who have since struggled, with this being their only win since early September.
One key strength for Rovers remains their impressive home form which stretches back a club-record 11 consecutive games, a challenge Dean Brennan’s side will be keen to overcome on Saturday.
However, they head into this weekend sitting in a comfortable looking 5th place, knowing that all three points would see them leapfrog the Bees.

Experienced boss Steve Evans currently occupies the hotseat in the Bristol Rovers dugout, in what his eleventh different role in football management.
Known for his stints with Crawley Town, Rotherham United and most recently Stevenage the now 63-year-old has 8 different promotions on his CV meaning he certainly knows his way out of a division.
Having joined Rovers in December 2025, he guided his side to a comfortable 14th placed finish and will certainly have bigger ambitions this season.
One to Watch: Arvin Appiah
Bristol Rovers recently announced the signing of winger Arvin Appiah and will certainly add quality to Steve Evans’ side.
Having begun his career with Nottingham Forest, the now 25-year-old sealed an £8 million pound move to Spanish side Almeria in September 2019.
He has since had spells with Tenerife, Malaga, CD Nacional and Rotherham United – which is where he worked with current boss Evans.
Appiah will now be making to make his debut on Saturday and will be keen to impress against the Bees in front of his new supporters.
