RYE COMPLETES TAMWORTH MOVE

Barnet Football Club can confirm that Joe Rye has completed a move to National League Side Tamworth.

The 22-year-old joined the Bees in the summer of 2024 and made three appearances during the Bees’ National League title-winning season, while also going out on loan to Chelmsford City in January 2025.

Rye also featured in our FA Cup first round tie against Exeter City in 2024.

Joe spent last season on loan at Tamworth and now makes the permanent move to the Staffordshire side.

On Joe’s departure, Manager Dean Brennan said:

“The deal was all round good for all parties and Joe wanted game time and we couldn’t guarantee him that.

We wish him all the best for his development going forward.”
