Back in June, First Team Manager Dean Brennan, accompanied by Assistant Manager Connor Smith and First Team Coach Jerome Okimo, attended the 2025 Middlesex FA Annual Awards at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Following the Bees’ historic 2024/25 campaign in the National League, where 102 points confirmed top spot and promotion back to the EFL as Champions, Dean Brennan was announced as one of the evening’s special guests at an event where grassroots heroes across the county were celebrated.
Dean sat on a panel alongside Sue Hough, MBE of The FA and 24/25 FA Sunday Cup Winners, Highgate Albion, to talk passionately about Barnet FC’s success last season, as well as the vital connection between grassroots football and the elite game.

Dean, Connor and Jerome were all invited on stage to be presented with the National League Trophy, by CEO of the Middlesex FA, Kayleigh Saunders, while the other attendees in the room celebrated their magnificent achievement alongside them.
Our Manager was also on hand to give out the Male Coach of the Year award to Bacai Dos Santos of Sandgate Youth, portraying the importance of role models and inspiring individuals in the game.
A fantastic night was had by all in attendance at an occasion designed to Inspire, Connect and Uplift!
