YIADOM: ‘WE WANT SIX POINTS’

Andy Yiadom is targeting two wins from two as Bees prepare to face Morecambe and Oxford United.
The winger, who regained his place for the 2-1 loss to Plymouth Argyle, is hoping to start once more and do all he can to secure six points after admitting he was not as his best against the Pilgrims.
Speaking at The Hive Yiadom revealed that the team were bitterly disappointed with last weekend’s result and that they were determined to make amends.
“It was a long trip to Plymouth and the only thing more disappointing than the result was our performance.
“We were not happy losing but it only made us more determined to take all three points at Underhill on Saturday.”
Yiadom continued by explaining that team morale is still high and that a win on Saturday will help spur the team on to further victories.
“The atmosphere within the camp is still very good and we are remaining positive. We have two games within a few days and if we can get six points then we will be right back up there.
“We have worked hard this week and on Saturday we have a great chance to put last week behind us and kick on.”
The 21-year-old also admitted that he did not play well last weekend and stated that if picked once more he will do all he can to help the team.
“It was good to be back in the side last weekend but I personally do not think I played very well.
“Hopefully I am picked again and if I am I will do everything I can to ensure that we come away with a positive result.”
Ross Jenkins joined the club on loan from Watford on Thursday and Yiadom believes he can add a new dimension to the Bees’ midfield.
“I have known Ross since I was at Watford and he is a very good player who will add something different to the squad.
He is a central midfielder with great presence. He likes to break the play down and get on the ball which will be very good for us.”
