WOODLANDS SCHOOL PUPILS VISIT THE HIVE

25 children from Woodlands school paid us a visit to the Hive Stadium recently organised by The Hive Foundation.

 

The children took part in adapted football activities and had a tour of the Hive stadium.

 

Woodlands is a primary maintained special school in the Local Authority of Harrow for children which caters for 136 pupils aged 3-11 years with a wide range of complex and profound learning difficulties. These include severe autism, complex medical conditions, physical and mobility difficulties, as well as severe developmental delay.

 

Lisa Jeffrey the mobility coordinator said: “The Hive have always welcomed Woodlands School on our visits with great adaptability and enthusiasm and as a special school this is especially important to us and our children.

 

“The guys at the Hive include all of our children regardless of disability in the visit making the trip relevant and fun for everyone. Its become one of the most popular activities during our sports week.”
