Barnet FC is excited to announce that Ben Wynter has signed a permanent deal at The Hive London.
The versatile right-back has spent the last four seasons at Torquay United and joins following the expiry of his contract.
After coming through Crystal Palace’s youth system, Wynter enjoyed a brief spell at Bromley before signing permanently for Torquay in 2018.
During his first season at Plainmoor, Wynter won the National League South and was awarded with the Club’s Young Player of the Season in the following season.
The 24-year-old continued to improve whilst with the Gulls and helped the side to the National League Play-Off Final during the 2020/21 campaign.
Wynter scored nine goals and made 23 assists in over 150 appearances for the Devon-based side and was also called up to the England C squad last season.
Dean Brennan said: “Ben is one of the best players in his position at this level and we are delighted to bring him to our football club.
“We have kept communication open with Ben for a long time and he is a player that I have admired for a while.
“Ben will be a key player for us this year and we are excited to start working with him.”
The deal is subject to the usual regulatory processes.
