Barnet FC are pleased to announce the loan signing of Watford and Northern Ireland defender Adam Thompson.

20-year-old Thompson is a Watford Academy graduate who made his full senior debut for the Hornets aged 17.

Previously captain of the U18 Academy team, Adam has had spells on loan at Brentford and Wycombe Wanderers. He has also been capped twice for Northern Ireland.

Thompson joins on a month-long deal and will be available for selection for tomorrow’s match at home to Bradford City.
