A selection of players from the Barnet FC first team squad visited Canons High School this week, to host an assembly about life as a footballer.
Bees captain Andy Yiadom was joined by Jamie Stephens, Sam Muggleton, and the Community Trust’s Steven Barron.
They spoke to Year 9 students about everything from how they got into the game, through to what they do in their free time.
The players were asked questions about the commitment needed to be a footballer, dealing with injuries and the busy Christmas period.
Head Teacher Keven Bartle was then presented with last season’s title winning shirt, which he accepted on behalf of the school.
The players thoroughly enjoyed their time at Canons High School, and would like to wish all the students and teachers a very happy festive period!
