Barnet FC can confirm that striker George Sykes has extended his loan with Canvey Island for a further month until March 14th.

The 20-year-old, who is currently on the transfer list, arrived on loan with the Gulls on January 15th for an initial month.

However, having netted an impressive seven goals in his last four games to help Canvey climb clear of the relegation zone and up to 15th in the Ryman Premier League table, the young striker is now set to stay at The Prospects Stadium for a further month.
