The first international fixture to be played at The Hive saw Nigeria and Senegal share the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
Sadio Mane was the main attraction for Senegal, with many adoring fans turning out to see the Liverpool star.
Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi started for Nigeria, much to the delight of the watching Gunners faithful.
The game itself was an even affair throughout, with both sides having a fair share of the possession.
The first half provided no goals with the sides going in level at the break.
All the goals came in the second 45 minutes, with Moussa Sow opening the scoring for Senegal on 53 minutes, before Kelechi Iheanacho equalised for Nigeria on 81 minutes.
Attendance for the game was 2,013.
Nigeria return to The Hive on Monday night when they take on Burkina Faso, KO 8PM.
