STACK SIGNS THREE-YEAR DEAL

Barnet Football Club are delighted to announce that Graham Stack has signed a three-year contract extension with the club to June 2016.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper, 31, has made 25 appearances for the Bees this season, keeping eight clean sheets since joining from Scottish Premier League side Hibernian in August.
Stack was recently handed the Captain’s armband for the matches against Aldershot Town and Bradford City with Head Coach Edgar Davids ruled out through injury.
Director of Football, Paul Fairclough said, “We’re delighted that Graham has decided to commit his long-term future to the club. Graham obviously sees the potential here and has responded well to Head Coach Edgar Davids. Personally, I feel Graham has matured and improved and has been the bedrock of the defence this season, keeping a lot of clean sheets. The first position you need to secure at any successful club is the goalkeeper and he has proved to be outstanding for us.”
Graham Stack, said “I’m over the moon to have signed a new contract. I’m pleased with the way the season is going and it’s nice to be rewarded when things go well. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far. The club has plenty of ambition with a new stadium on the way, great training facilities and obviously Edgar Davids being here speaks volumes about the club’s ambition.
“I want to be successful here and be remembered for achieving something at Barnet.  There is a long way to go this season, but beyond that we have big aspirations. There is real potential in the squad for us to kick on.”
Club Chairman Tony Kleanthous said, "I am absolutely delighted that Graham has signed long term. We have been looking for a safe pair of hands for a while now and we have a lot of faith in his ability. Graham’s attitude both on and off the pitch has been first class. He has been a leader and an inspiration to the squad and has now committed to provide coaching sessions to all the goal keepers in our academy."
On behalf of everyone at Barnet FC we would like to wish Graham all the best for his future at the club.
