Barnet Football Club are delighted to announce that Dean Brennan has been named the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month for August.
Brennan guided the Bees through an unbeaten opening month following our return to the EFL, producing a series of impressive performances and results.
His side began the League Two campaign with victory over Salford City at The Hive before securing an excellent 3–1 win away at Shrewsbury Town. Barnet then fought back to earn a point against Cheltenham Town and completed the month with another positive result on the road at Exeter City.
The award recognises not only Dean’s leadership but also the hard work of his coaching staff, players and everyone working behind the scenes.
Speaking after receiving the award, Brennan said:
“It’s a great honour to win the award, but this is a collective achievement for the entire football club. From the Chairman and the Board to my staff, the players, everyone working behind the scenes and all our matchday staff, everybody has played their part.
“The players have been outstanding and our supporters have backed us brilliantly. We’ve made a positive start, but there is still a long way to go. Our focus is on continuing to improve, staying together and building on the standards we’ve set.”
