Barnet Football Club is thrilled to have secured the services of David Sesay on a one-month rolling contract.
The versatile defender was recently training with Harry Kewell’s side and has been awarded a deal at the Club that will see him at The Hive London for, at least, the end of next month.
Having been born in Brent, Sesay came through the Watford FC academy before penning a permanent deal with League Two side Crawley Town in 2018.
He made his Red Devils debut a few weeks after signing for the Club against Tottenham Hotspur U23’s in the Papa John’s Trophy, where he finished the match by scoring the winning penalty.
At the end of his first season in Sussex, Sesay was handed the Club’s Young Player of the Year award.
The 22-year-old was a regular within the squad at the People’s Pension Stadium as he went on to make 70 appearances across three seasons at the Club, before getting released this Summer.
Having caught up with the defender upon his arrival to The Hive London, Sesay said: “To get the deal done is really good and I am excited to get playing for the Club now.
“Harry Kewell had a massive impact on me joining Barnet FC, having played under him at two previous Clubs.
“Mason Bloomfield also told me what a good Club it is to play for which helped my decision when thinking about moving here.”
Welcome to Barnet FC, David! The deal is subject to the usual regulatory processes.
