The game started at a frantic pace, Williams having a couple of efforts for the visitors blocked and saved.

Four minutes in and Alex Nicholls got in behind the Lincoln defence but poked his effort just wide under pressure.

The Bees took the lead eleven minutes in when Ryan Watson delivered a great ball to John Akinde, who powered his way into a shooting position and finishing low into the bottom left corner.

Just three minutes later and Barnet went close to a second when Ryan Watson skimmed the crossbar from 25 yards out.

Shortly before the break, Farman had to parry Richard Brindley’s low cross.

Lincoln made two changes at the break and James Wilson came on and scored with his first touch, a powerful header past Ross.

Chances were few and far between in the second half as the match became a midfield battle.

Harry Anderson forced Ross into a low save before the Bees ‘keeper was called into actionagain from Eardley’s free kick.

Rowe hit the bar for Lincoln and in stoppage time, Bostwick fired wide from 10 yards out.

Barnet held on to pick up a point and stop a run of 5 games without a win.
