Report | Aldershot Town 0-0 Barnet FC

The Bees started brightly, Byron Harrison heading over Dan Sparkes’ cross and Medy Elito curling a shot just wide in the fourth minute.

Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong driving run at the Barnet defence caused issues but his shot from the edge of the box went narrowly wide.

John Still’s Bees would hit the crossbar through Sparkes’ free kick on the half-hour mark, it hit the line before rebounding out to Charlee Adams but he blazed the rebound over when he was put under pressure by James Rowe.

After the break, Barnet stepped up a gear and looked much more dangerous that the hosts.

Robson had a header flicked over in front of goal. Former Bee Jake Cole was then quick to save another header from Robson.

A Harrison flick on was headed onto the crossbar by substitute Shaq Coulthirst.

Into the final minutes, a goalmouth scramble in the Aldershot box saw Robson’s, Coulthirst’s and Ephron Mason-Clark’s efforts all blocked in a crowd of bodies.

Robson would have another header cleared of the line before, in stoppage time, Harrison would have an effort saved by Cole, it fell to Coulthirst but he hit the post.
