Barnet Football Club were deeply saddened to hear of the sudden and unexpected passing of much-loved steward Ricardo Gonzalez on Tuesday morning at the age of 58.

Ricky worked with the club over a number of years in the roles of site supervisor and steward, but above all, he was a big Barnet and London Bees fan and made the effort to travel up and down the country to cheer on both teams.

Ricky was loved by everyone who knew him and was always there to offer a helping hand on a matchday, whether that was simply greeting supporters with a smile or assisting them with any queries they may have had.

Everyone at the club offers its deepest condolences to Ricardo’s family, friends and loved ones and everyone that was lucky to know him, during this extremely difficult time.
