Brief Directions By Road: The trusty M1 until Junction 29. At the roundabout take the second exit signposted Chesterfield A617. After approx 8 miles of dual carriageway keep right at a roundabout and take the A61. At the next roundabout, with a very large Tesco’s take the first exit (stadium signposted at this point) into Lockoford Lane. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit B6057 (Sheffield Road) and you will see the stadium.

Car Parking: Parking is very limited in the surrounding streets. However, if you arrive early enough it is available. There are also a few pay and display car parks in the local area for a reasonable charge.

Supporters Coaches: Barnet FC are running of Official Coach Travel for this season. The coach will leave the Pavilion at 9.45am and the ticket price is just £20. The Pavilion will be open from 8.15am for pre-journey refreshments. Discounts on travel are available for season ticket holders and club members. Bookings for coach travel for all 2011-12 season away games can be purchased online or by calling 020 8449 6325.

The Reckless Recommendation is The Spread Eagle Pub, 7 Beetwell Street, Chesterfield, S40 1SH. This little place comes highly recommended by my spies – Home-made Steak Pie or a very agreeable curry.

The East Stand wing will be allocated to Barnet supporters. A seat will cost £21 for adults, £16 for concessions (OAP and 15-18 year olds) and £9 for juniors (U14s).
