Commercial Director Keith Westcott has spoken of his pride after Brazil prepared to take on England at The Hive London.
The outstanding facilities, which opened in 2009, are continuing to be developed and the visit of A Seleção has once again outlined the fine foundation Barnet Football Club have for the future.
After watching Luiz Felipe Scolari’s samba starts in action Westcott hailed the progress being made by the club both on and off the pitch.
“It is fantastic that Brazil should choose to train at The Hive and it reflects the first class facilities we have here at Barnet Football Club.
“This will only benefit us in the future with regards to attracting players and offering the Bees the best environment to build for future success.”
The facilities have obvious off-field benefits but Bees supporters have already began to see the footballing benefits with the emergence of a number of youth team players.
“We are already seeing the impact of these superb facilities on the pitch with the likes of George Sykes and Iffy Allen moving from our excellent Academy to the first-team.
“In the future we are positive that we can attract talented youngsters to the club who will develop into first-team players who can take the club to the next level.”
The investment within Barnet Football Club has been tremendous over the past few years and it is set to continue as The Hive continues to grow in stature and quality.
“The visit of Brazil not only showcases the footballing developments but also demonstrates the commercial investment in areas such as the gym, bar and banqueting.
“All of these areas will come together and help to secure the long-term future of the club and create revenue streams which will be key going forward.”
