PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY – HEMEL HEMPSTEAD TOWN VS BARNET FC

Barnet FC travel to Hemel Hempstead Town to take part in the Spencer McCall Memorial Game as part of our pre-season schedule on Saturday 5th July 15:00 KO.

Spencer was a Hemel Hempstead player who sadly passed away from a rare form of bone cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. Spencer had previously played for both Dean Brennan and Kirk Rayment at Hemel.

The memorial game will raise money for Sarcoma UK, the charity that supported Spencer and his family throughout his treatment. More information on Sarcoma UK can be found HERE.

Barnet faced Hemel last year, with the Bees securing a 3-1 away victory over The Tudors thanks to a first half hat-trick from Nicke Kabamba.
