The Bees earned a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Accrington Stanley on Friday night.
After an impressive first half display in which the home side were unable to find the net, Stanley got their noses in front shortly after half time.
The Bees levelled through a Mark Byrne penalty – the Irishman scoring on his second attempt after Accrington’s keeper was adjudged to have come off his line while saving the first effort.
Barnet held on with ten men after Edgar Davids was shown a second yellow card for a challenge on James Beattie.
The draw was a fair result for both sides and the point lifted The Bees out the relegation zone for the first time this season.
