Bees defender Bondz N’Gala has joined Vanarama National League side Eastleigh for a fee of £60,000.
N’Gale was allowed to leave Barnet Football Club not because of the offer from the Spitfires but because he had expressed a desire to leave and we had planned to bolster our options at centre half.
The 27-year-old initially joined the Bees on loan in 2013 before re-signing in July 2014 on a permanent basis.
He was an integral part of the side which won the Vanarama Conference, making 44 appearances and scoring a memorable stoppage time winner at Forest Green Rovers early that season.
N’Gala was an important figure last season, too, as the Bees secured a 15th-placed finish in League Two upon their return to the Football League.
In the summer N’Gala signed a new contract to remain at The Hive until the summer of 2017 and he has made 14 appearances in all competitions already this term.
N’Gala leaves The Hive having made 113 appearances in all competitions and scored two goals.
Everyone at Barnet Football Club would like to wish Bondz the very best of luck in the future and thank him for his contribution in the past two years.
