“For me personally it was a very frustrating day. Everyones frustrated.
To give away points, three times in six games, there’s something not quite right.”
Kevin was keen to keep his side positive ahead of Notts County and knows what to expect from Sunday’s opponents.
“Their home form is decent. They’ve put together a good side. They’ve got two good coaches there.”
Despite his side not seeing out the last few games as he would have liked, Nugent is confident his first win isn’t far away.
“If the games lasted 90 minutes, we’d be in the playoffs now. Simple as that. That’s why it is so frustrating. But that’s the beauty of football, you get another chance to go again.”
“Football is about ups and downs. We’ve had a few disappointing moments. The other night felt like a defeat.”
Nugent is keen to keep his side positive and focused going in to Sunday.
“It’s about lifting moral again. Getting them up and being bubbly – looking forwards.”
Nugent revealed that the injury to Akinola isn’t as serious as first thought and hopes to include him at Notts County.
“He’s not too bad. We’re hoping he’ll be available for Sunday.”
“Tutonda was cramping up, we hasn’t played for a while. But hopefully he’ll be ok as well.”
Kevin was keen to express the need for the team to dust themselves off and go again Sunday.
“Let’s move on to the next one. Football’s about your ups and downs. How you deal with set backs.”
"We’ve lost two in six. Looking at the positive side, It’s two games undefeated. We’ll be building on that.”
