Barnet FC are delighted to announce the signing of 25-year-old goalkeeper Nick Hayes.
The 6’4” shot-stopper spent the second half of last season on loan at Solihull Moors, helping The Moors reach Wembley twice in the National League Play-offs and FA Trophy finals.
Hayes made 28 National League appearances last season, keeping 9 clean sheets and conceding just 33 goals.
Hayes on his move to Barnet FC said “As soon as I spoke to the gaffer (Dean Brennan) and heard the interest from my agent, I knew straight away I wanted to come (to Barnet FC)”
Barnet FC Manager Dean Brennan said: “Nick has the right type of character that we have been searching for. His attributes suit our philosophy and he has the correct mentality that we need to bring success to our football club.
“Nick signs a long term contract with us which is brilliant. I know his personality; he will be a very popular member of our squad and a player that I know our supporters will be delighted to join me in welcoming him to our Club.”
Welcome to Barnet, Nick.
The deal is subject to the usual FA and League clearances.
