Tompkins, 17, has been a key part of the Under 18’s midfield this season and has certainly caught the eye of First Team manager John Still.
“He has done ever so well in the youth team games that I have seen, has done well in training and had a few games with the development side as well. He is well worthy of being given an opportunity.
“He knows how to put his foot in and he knows how to play, he’s shown himself to be someone we should definitely continue working with so I’m really pleased to get it done.”
Tompkins added:
“I’m really happy to have signed professionally with Barnet, I believe this is a great club and I see myself having a bright future ahead.
“For someone like John Still, who has been in the game a long time, to notice and put his trust in me really means a lot!”
Congratulations, Jack!
