Michael Nelson: Expectations have been raised

Michael Nelson says expectations at Barnet have been raised in recent weeks and that is reflected in the way teams set up to face the Bees.
Having moved into the play-offs at the start of 2017 the Bees have been frustrated in their last couple of fixtures.
The skipper believes that is because opposing teams are aware of Barnet’s threat.
“When you put yourself up around the play-offs people start expecting you to win more often than not,” Nelson said. “It’s not just the fans who expect that, it’s Rossi, Henry and us as players.
“Considering we’ve had a bit of a sticky pitch we’re right in there with a lot more points to play for. We’re sitting in a really good position coming into the final part of the league season.”
Nelson, who had yet to miss a minute of EFL League Two action this season, continued: “If you look at the way teams have set up against us in the last eight or nine games compared to the game before they are setting up a lot differently.
“We have been carrying more of an attacking threat though we have not converted the percentage of chances we’ve created.
“You can recognise that in the way teams set up against us to counteract that so that’s something we have to get to grips with.”
