Barnet FC are delighted to announce the arrival of Bernard Mensah from Watford on a short-term loan deal until 5th January 2015.
The 19-year-old striker came through the Watford Academy before signing professional terms in 2011 at the age of sixteen.
Bernard came to prominence during the 2012/13 season when he scored 14 goals for the Watford U18s side in 19 games, earning a call-up to the first team squad for pre-season training ahead of the last campaign.
He made his professional debut for the Hornets in November 2013, coming on as a late substitute in Watford’s 1-0 home defeat to Bolton Wanderers in the Championship.
Bernard also has experience of playing in the Conference following a loan spell with Braintree Town during the latter half of last season that saw him score two goals in seven starts for the Iron.
Bernard will be eligible to play in the FA Cup this weekend against Wycombe Wanderers, in a game that takes place at 15:00 at The Hive.
Everybody at Barnet FC would like to wish Bernard a warm welcome to the club.
