ONE TO WATCH

Moses Emmanuel

The Lewisham-born striker started his career playing for Croydon Athletic in the Isthmian League but was quickly spotted by Football League scouts after scoring an impressive 19 goals in 36 appearances, which earned him a move to Brentford FC in 2008.

After enjoying two loan spells at Welling United and Woking FC, he made the move permanent to The Laithwaite Community Stadium in 2010, playing 95 games and scoring 25 goals.

Emmanuel left Woking in 2012 before spending time at Eastleigh FC, Dover Athletic, Sutton United and Bromley FC, with goals coming at all four clubs.

In the summer of 2021, Hayes & Yeading United opted to sign Emmanuel from Wealdstone FC. He has started strongly at the Club, scoring six goals in seven games.

Standing at 5ft 8ins, the 32-year-old possesses great agility and balance that’s helped him to lead the goal scoring tally for the Club so far this season.
