OPPOSITION DUGOUT

Luke Garrard

As a player, Garrard started his career at Swindon Town and made his debut in April of 2003, before spells at Bishop Stortford and Boreham Wood.

He then joined AFC Wimbledon on a permanent basis in 2006 and made close to 100 appearances for the Club.

Another stint at the Wood followed where he appeared 140 times before hanging up his boots in 2015.

Following the resignation of Ian Allinson in 2015, Garrard was promoted to manager – which made him the youngest gaffer in England’s top five leagues.

ONE TO WATCH

Scott Boden

After coming through the youth system at Sheffield United, Boden was given his first chance in senior football at Chesterfield FC.

Boden has played over 450 games throughout his career – scoring 124 goals and assisting 35 times.

Standing at 6ft tall, Boden joined Boreham Wood in the summer of 2021 on a one-year contract, with the option to extend.

The 31-year-old is the Club’s top goalscorer this season and is likely to cause problems for the Bees, should he play.
