James Pearson is the final long term absentee – Martin Allen revealed that he will miss four to six months of the season in his latest interview. New signing Jamal Campbell-Ryce looks set to sit out our game against Accrington with a tight calf.

Dangerman: Benin international midfielder Romuald Boco is enjoying his third spell with Stanley, having re-joined the club earlier this year. He got his season off to a good start by scoring one goal in Accrington’s 3-2 victory last Saturday.

Last Time Out: This weekend’s opponents will face a local derby against Premier League Burnley in the EFL Cup 2nd round, after defeating League One Bradford City on Tuesday. The scores were tied at 0-0 after extra time, but John Coleman’s men won an epic penalty shootout 11-10!
