Martin Allen says Barnet have no fresh injuries ahead of Saturday’s EFL League Two clash at Grimsby Town (kick-off 3pm).
The Bees will set off for Blundell Park on Friday and stay overnight ahead of Saturday’s encounter at Blundell Park.
Michael Gash, James Pearson and Sam Togwell are long-term absentees and there are a number of other doubts. However, the Bees have not picked up any new concerns.
Speaking after Thursday’s training session, Allen said: “A few of them will be fit and a few of them won’t and we will keep that to ourselves for now.
“Luigi Cerullo and James Russell are working really hard and the players are doing double sessions to get back. There’s no fresh injuries but we will have to wait and see for Saturday lunchtime.”
Hosts Grimsby will be under new management for just the second time after former Solihull Moors boss Marcus Bignot was appointed as Paul Hurst’s successor.
“Their previous manager, Paul Hurst, is a good bloke and, of course, Marcus Bignot has got his big opportunity by going to Grimsby after doing a brilliant job at Solihull Moors,” said Allen.
“He’s been a good player but I think we all know being a good player doesn’t make you a good coach or manager nowadays.
“He’s done his groundwork and done his apprenticeship. Now he’s in charge of a big club with a big, passionate fanbase and they’ve got some good players.”
