Barnet FC are pleased to announce that second-year scholar, Jamal Lowe, has today signed a professional contract with Barnet FC. The striker made his senior debut as a substitute early this season against York City and was handed his first start by Joint Head Coach Mark Robson in September against Bradford City.
Barnet FC Academy Manager James Thorne said, “I’m delighted for Jamal, he has worked extremely hard over the last two years to get to this position and is an example to all young players at the Academy. Jamal has gone from our College Development Programme, in association with Stanmore College, to full professional within a little over two years and has a bright future ahead of him. This is another fantastic example that the Club is committed to its Youth programme and that the work being done at the Academy and Club is starting to produce results.”
Joint Head Coach Mark Robson is equally delighted with the news, commenting, “Jamal is a great lad with lots of ability. We will continue working with him to help him enhance his ability as we see him a great player for the future.”
Everyone here at Barnet Football Club wishes Jamal a great footballing career.
