Three of Barnet Football Club’s four players out on loan featured last weekend with one emerging victorious.
Jamal Lowe spearheaded the Hayes and Yeading attack on Saturday helping them to a 2-1 win over Weston-super-Mare.
Goals from Adam Bygrave, on his 50th appearance for the club, and Tom Cadmore in the first 14 minutes sealed the win for Hayes with Dayle Grubb notching for Weston after 38 minutes.
Lowe almost added a third for the home side just three minutes after their second but Weston keeper Lloyd Irish was able to tip the ball to safety via the crossbar.
The forward also went close to grabbing an assist at the start of the second-half but Kudus Oyenuga was denied by the impressive Irish.
Lowe has now returned to Barnet after his loan with Hayes and Yeading expired.
Jack Saville started in Ebbsleet United’s 1-0 loss to Woking as the Cardinals exacted revenge for their FA Cup defeat in October.
After just seven minutes it was disaster for Ebbsfleet as Paul Lorraine fouled Loick Pires in the box and the referee pointed to the spot.
Luckily for the away side Kevin Betsy fired the penalty wide and as the game wore on Lorraine and Saville continued to thwart the Woking attack.
It was not enough however and with seconds remaining Jayden Stockley delivered the sucker punch when he slotted home from Bradley Bubb’s cross to give Woking the win.
Mauro Vilhete has impressed during his time away from Underhill but he was not in action over the weekend.
Loan club Boreham Wood were due to face Havant & Waterlooville at Meadow Park on Monday night but the fixture was postponed due to continuous bad weather.
Liam O’Brien also featured in Hastings United’s 1-0 defeat to Ensfield Town.
