Landvreugd Leaves Barnet FC

Barnet Football Club can confirm that assistant head-coach Uli Landvreugd has left the club with immediate effect.
The Dutchman spent over 18 months at The Hive initially joining with Edgar Davids as the Bees sent shockwaves throughout world football with a truly stunning appointment.
Following the departure of Davids, Landvreugd took charge of the first-team with fellow countrymen Dick Schreuder guiding the Bees to five straight wins before a loss of form saw the return of Martin Allen.
Since joining the club Landvreugd has made a big impact on the team, staff and supporters and he will have a lasting effect on all he came into contact with.
The return of Allen as head-coach means a change in direction and as Barnet FC gear towards the 2014/15 season changes will be made throughout all areas of the club.
The key moving forward is for Martin to assemble a team of staff who he feels can work with the first-team in order to achieve the club’s primary aim, promotion.
Everybody associated with Barnet FC would like to thank Landvreugd for his contribution and wish him the very best of luck in what we have no doubt will be a successful career.
