Yesterday afternoon, Kane Smith was presented the PFA Community Champion award for the 2025/2026 Season.
The award is presented for players across the EFL who have shown commitment to community engagement across the season.
Foundation Manager, Aleksander Czerniec said “Kane has been a class professional every time he engages within our community initiatives. Whether it is interacting with the kids during our community camps or attending our school assemblies, he deserves this award and is an embodiment of what the club is about in terms of togetherness and impact on the local community.”
Kane Smith said upon receiving the award “I love engaging with the young children in the local area. I’m doing my UEFA B this summer and getting into coaching, so this means a lot to me.”
Congratulations, Kano!
