We are delighted to announce the signing of Goalkeeper Joe Wright.
Joe came through EFL Championship side Millwall’s academy and enjoyed loan spells with Cray Wanderers and fellow National League South side Bath City in the 2022/23 season. A loan spell at Salford City followed, before a move to Galway in January 2024.
Wright joined Eastbourne Borough in the summer of 2024. Playing 42 games for The Sports and keeping 20 clean sheets, helped Eastbourne achieve a 3rd place league finish.
In his first Barnet interview, Joe said,
“My key strength is shot-stopping and I like to be quite demanding – my communication is normally quite good when playing.”
Barnet FC Manager Dean Brennan said,
“Joe completes our goalkeeping department. He gained vital experience at Eastbourne last season and did really well.
He has impressed us in pre-season and deserves his opportunity in the EFL with us here at Barnet.”
