Introducing the Bees new backroom team

Barnet Football Club are delighted to introduce the Clubs newly assembled backroom team which will oversee First Team matters heading into the 2021/22 season.

Following on from our Chairman’s BeesPod podcast interview, where he spoke about his vision for assembling a team of experts to positively take the Club forward, we’re delighted to now give you a full overview of our all new backroom team.

As you know, our resident Head of Performance Gary Anderson, Goalkeeping Coach Dave Anderson (no relation!) and First Team Physiotherapist Ollie Galloway are already in place from last season. We then added the exciting appointments of Dean Brennan as Head of Football together with Harry Kewell as First Team Head Coach. Since then, Paul Butler has come in as the Club’s First Team Coach and we’re thrilled to have him here.

From a recruitment perspective, Kirk Rayment and Michael Cairney have jumped on board as Heads of Recruitment for the South and North respectively, giving us huge scope to look at the very best players available. All player and opposition analysis will now be overseen by the very talented Aaron Roberts and holding absolutely everything together is Ricky Bartlett, our newly appointed Team Logistics Manager, assisted by Kit Man Callum Hart. We will be making plenty of video content with the team members as the season progresses, so you will get the chance to get to know more about them on an individual basis.

The backroom team have been working incredibly hard these last few weeks as we head into pre-season, with friendlies organised, training well underway and plenty of signings in the bag.

To give a better understanding of how the backroom team is structured, here’s an organisational chart for you to look at…
