Jake Hyde returned to action against Grimsby Town on Saturday but the forward was left bitterly frustrated following a 2-1 defeat to Grimsby Town.
The Bees dominated the second-half and after Keanu Marsh-Brown equalised they could have sealed a win had they been more clinical in front of goal.
Instead Dayle Southwell punished the Bees with a late goal to seal the Mariners’ progression and the Bees’ exit.
Speaking post-match Hyde admitted the Bees wasted an excellent opportunity to reach a Wembley final. Â
