Henry Newman: “We’re thinking about moving forward”

Interim Barnet assistant Henry Newman revealed it was a buoyant training session at The Hive this morning as the Bees started preparations for Saturday’s EFL League Two game at Yeovil Town.
The Bees head to Huish Park unbeaten in seven league fixtures and looking to move into the play-off places off the back of that fine run of form.
Newman and caretaker Rossi Eames and assistant took training for the second time on Tuesday morning and were pleased with the players’ reaction.
“It’s gone very well and it was lively. It was good to see the players out here," Newman said. "They’ve had the weekend off and they are in good spirits.
“It’s about the process of Rossi and I starting to get some of our ideas across in relation to not making any big changes but just tweaking one or two things; putting our stamp, personalities and beliefs on it.
“We had a presentation this morning where we talked about where we are in the league and we finished the presentation with: ‘Let’s kick on.’
“We’re thinking about moving forward. We acknowledge the fact we’ve got a tough game this weekend against Yeovil who performed very well against Crawley last weekend and are on the way up – but so are we.”
