Yesterday afternoon saw the official opening of our new and improved home bar at The Hive – Grazioli’s!

Giuliano Grazioli was there himself to cut the ribbon and officially declare the bar open as family, friends and Barnet fans all came together to celebrate his 40th birthday and toast the opening of the bar for exclusive use of Barnet supporters on matchdays that has been named in his honour.

The new-look bar was unveiled along with some brand new installations to pay homage to five unforgettable years with the Bees as a player as well as memorable spells as both a coach and caretaker manager; including some LED signs that will forever display his name in lights, four specially-designed banners hanging from the ceiling and an array of photographs and memorabilia to look back on his successes with the club.

At the event Graz gave a short speech and took part in a question and answer session with Tony Hammond before being presented with a shirt bearing his name on the back that had been signed by the entire current Barnet first team squad by Chairman Tony Kleanthous.

All those in attendance then toasted the opening with a glass of sparkling wine and slice of birthday cake as Grazioli’s hosted the first of many celebrations.

A reminder that Grazioli’s will be open on home matchdays to all Barnet supporters sitting in the West Stand from 13:00, starting with this Saturday’s game at home to Nuneaton.

The spacious and flexible bar is also available for hire to the public for all kinds of events – from wedding receptions to birthday parties and everything in between.
