Albania moved off the foot of UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 4 with a 1-3 win over Switzerland.
On loan Derby County defender Valentin Gjokaj played the entire 90 minutes as Albania shocked second-placed Switzerland to double their points tally for the campaign.
Enis Kavazaj opened the scoring with 19 minutes played before captain Vasil Shkurtaj doubled their lead with a fine finish on the stroke of half-time.
Herolind Shala’s superb solo goal goal in the 57th minute sealed the points with Michael Gregoritsch converting a late consolation from the spot after Gjokaj conceded a penalty kick.
Gjokaj will now return to The Hive ahead of Saturday’s match against Gateshead.
