Preparations for Barnet’s return to the Football League step up a gear tomorrow, as the Bees kick off their pre-season schedule!
Barnet will play a total of eight friendlies in the run-up to the first game of the season on 8th August, with four exciting matches taking place here at The Hive.
First up is the visit of Hungerford Town tomorrow afternoon, as Martin Allen’s men look to get the ball rolling against the EvoStik Southern Premier League side.
Next weekend sees the Premier League big boys come to town, as the Bees take on a Crystal Palace side managed by former player Alan Pardew and likely to include some more fan favourites in Jason Puncheon and Yannick Bolasie.
Bees fans will have the chance to reacquaint themselves with an even more familiar face the following Tuesday, as Director of Football Barry Fry brings his Peterborough United side to The Hive following two spells managing the Bees over a total of fifteen years.
Barnet will then round off their home friendlies with an intriguing game against MK Dons, as Martin Allen looks to put his side through their paces against his former club fresh on the back of their first ever promotion to the Championship.
